Swelling On The Right Thigh, Whatever?
Afternoon … I want to ask … why is my child’s right thigh swollen .. It hurts .. That’s why .. What is not … Thanks
Good afternoon, thanks for the question
Swelling or lumps in the inner thigh area in children can be caused by several medical conditions, which do not always originate from enlarged lymph nodes. Lumps can be dense, soft, painful to no pain at all.
The intended causes include:
1. Allergic reaction
2. Benign cysts
4. Infection of the limbs
5. Injury to the groin area
6. Lipoma or benign fat tissue tumor
7. Sexually transmitted infections
8. Lymphadenopathy or enlarged lymph nodes
If the complaint of a lump appears suddenly and does not improve for more than 3 weeks, you should consult with a doctor for direct examination. Additional tests may be needed such as blood tests, liver and kidney function tests, or tissue biopsy tests. Specific treatment will be adjusted to the cause or final diagnosis from the results of previous examinations.
That's all, hope you can help.
