Swelling Under The Nose And Incisor Gums?
Assalamuallaikum, initially I experienced pain at the root of the incisor. continued the next day on the side and under the nose swelling. After a week I put the compress on, and at night the gums in the painful incisor root area also swelled up. Why is that? and how to treat it? thanks
Wa alaikumsalam Putri, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Pain in one part of the mouth, followed by swelling, is usually a typical symptom of infection. This infection can occur due to various things, including the buildup of plaque on the teeth, cavities, through small wounds due to sharp food, and so on.
Our advice is that you have your teeth checked by a dentist so that they can be seen immediately and treated further. Your doctor may prescribe antibiotics and anti-inflammatory and painkillers to help you heal if your condition suggests a bacterial infection.
Meanwhile, brush your teeth using a toothbrush with soft bristles at least twice a day, use dental floss or mouthwash to reach the corners that the toothbrush doesn't reach and gargle with warm salt water to help relieve symptoms. Get well soon.
That's all, hope it helps.
