Swollen Corner Of The Eye And Like Pimples There Is White?
Tonight, I am a woman in her 30’s. For more than a month I treat keratitis in the left eye. The final control is that the doctor has finished and there is no need to go back to treatment again when the last complaint is a sore eye corner. 4 days after the final control I still use 3 kinds of eye drops. Until the 4th day now my eyes are still sore when I get hit with water then I notice the corner of my left eye is different from the current. The corner of my left eye is slightly swollen and it looks like there is a white in the middle like a swollen zit. My question is does that mean that my eye keratitis has not healed yet because of the side effects of eye drops that I have been using for the past 2 months? And do I have to check right? Thank you for your answer
Hello Puan, Thank you for the question.
What eye drops do you use? Due to limited information regarding the eye drops you are using, I cannot provide further information about the side effects of the eye drops. However, the possibility of your complaint is not related to the use of eye drops. The description of the complaint you have made may be stingy, or in medical language it is known as hordeolum. Nipple can occur due to a bacterial infection in the roots of the eyelashes, oil glands, or sweat glands. Nipple causes symptoms of acne on the edges of the eyelids. This condition can also occur inside the eyelid. In addition, the patient's eyes can become red, swollen eyelids, and watery eyes.
Keratitis is inflammation of the cornea of the eye that can be caused by infection (viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infections) or injury. If your keratitis has been treated, then this condition is not related to your current complaint. However, if you still experience keratitis mainly due to a bacterial infection, then this infection can also attack the roots of the eyelashes, oil glands, or sweat glands.
You should re-consult with an eye specialist. The doctor needs to do an examination of your eyes to determine the cause and determine further treatment. Please avoid the use of cosmetics on the eyes for a while, avoid rubbing a sore eye. You can compress with warm water on the swollen part to help healing.
I hope this helps.
