Swollen Eyelids Accompanied By Itching?
Tonight doctor, I Reinhard want to ask. In 2 weeks 2 my eyes were swollen with itching and tears came out. I have been to the eye clinic and for 2 weeks I have been taking amoxicillin, flamar and polygran drops (already in control 1x) but nothing has changed but it has even more swollen in my right eye. What is the cause and the patent medicine? And what is the best advice for me? Please answer. thank you
Itching and swelling of the eyelids can be caused by a variety of disorders ranging from infection of the eyelids, inflammation of the conjunctival membrane of the eye, infection of the eyeball. All of them can give similar complaints, namely swelling in the eyelids. Some of the most common causes of swelling in the eyelids are:
In certain cases warm compresses can reduce swelling. In other cases cold compresses can relieve itching complaints in the eyes. The best advice is to regain control with an ophthalmologist. Bring a drug regimen that you have used before to evaluate the results of treatment. For eye disorders caused by allergies, the best way to alleviate them is to avoid allergens (causing allergic reactions). Allergens can be in the form of dust, mites, powder, or even drugs that are dripped on the eyes. The use of other drugs such as antibiotics and corticosteroids (to reduce inflammation) must be adjusted to the patient's condition during the examination. Avoid rubbing your eyes with your fingers because it will worsen the condition of your eyes. Immediately to the doctor if there is a decrease in vision function; severe headache accompanied by vomiting; high fever.
Thus the explanation from me, may be useful.
