Swollen Eyes During The Glandular TB Treatment Period?
Hello, want to ask. I am currently undergoing treatment for swollen glands in the neck and am still taking medication before the biopsy, but yesterday my eyes were swollen, is that the effect of the drug that I have been consuming for 2 weeks or from food? And is it including the effects of my illness? Thank you very much
Lumps in the neck can be caused by several possible causes such as swollen fat glands, swollen lymph nodes can be caused by infection, stones in the salivary glands, swelling of the thyroid gland and others where to ensure it can be examined both laboratory tests and other examinations such as ultrasound, CT scan or biopsy as has been done to determine the cause and determine further treatment.
Swelling in the eyes themselves can arise due to several things such as allergic reactions which can occur quickly and can be mild to severe until it is difficult to open the eyelids, arise on both eyelids and can be life threatening if not handled properly especially if accompanied by symptoms such as tightness breathing, rapid heart palpitations, decreased blood pressure, hands and feet feeling cold and shivering or fainting where it is necessary to get medical attention immediately. Other causes of swollen eyes can also be due to other allergic reactions such as insect bites, drug allergies or disorders of the organs around the eye such as eyelid infections, creases and other eyelid diseases.
For that, if the complaint does not improve, immediately consult a doctor to ascertain the cause. Later the originator can be sought and given treatment starting from antihistamines if the cause is an allergic reaction, or antibiotics either rubbing or taking if the cause is an infection. Compress the swollen part to reduce swelling and if accompanied by pain.
