Swollen Face To The Right Without Pain?
Thank you for the question.
Swelling next to the face can be natural if you lie too long over the old side, so that the blood flow becomes less smooth and swelling appears. Swelling due to this condition is often harmless and can improve on its own in less than 24 hours, provided you no longer overlap the side of your face. Try to position the swollen side of the face higher, such as by sitting or sleeping using a higher pillow. Also compress the swollen face side with warm water to reduce swelling quickly.
However, if the swelling does not improve in the above way, or other complaints appear, such as redness, itching, pain, fever, lumps, jaw stiffness, difficulty swallowing, or swelling in other parts of the body, then you should be vigilant. It could be, this swelling arises because of other reasons, for example:
Allergy to certain substances
Bite mites or other insects
Skin infections, for example due to bacteria, fungi, viruses, or parasites
Post-injury, such as from excessive rubbing or scratching, collides, is pinched too hard
Others, such as heart problems, lack of protein, drug side effects, inflammation of the gums, tooth abscess, jaw joint disorders (such as inflammation or dislocation), parotitis (mumps), cellulitis (soft tissue inflammation), benign or malignant tumors, and so
Swelling like this usually doctors will check, not only with regular physical examination, but also by conducting further examinations, such as allergy testing, laboratory, biopsy, x-rays, ultrasound, and so on. That way, then the best treatment can be done. Depending on the suspicion of the cause of the swelling, you may also later be referred to a dermatologist, surgeon, ENT, internal medicine, and so on.
Hope this helps ...
