Swollen Feet Accompanied By Itching And Peeling Skin
I want to ask on my feet there is swelling of the skin that is pressed like there is fluid and itching. The previous history of swelling was a little so I thought it was a kind of fungal disease so I treated with liquid medicine which caused my skin to peel off after a week of consumption I felt it had not improved because I replace the skin with a peel off with morning cream medicine that part causes itching and the afternoon there is a wider swelling. So what causes and how to treat it? thank you
Hello Siwal, thank you for asking to HealthReplies.com.
Let me introduce myself, Dr. Rio will answer the questions that you give.
The complaint you mentioned is not very clear, and is specific for diagnosing a disease with certainty. What's more your complaints about skin problems, skin diseases are very numerous, and are similar between one disease and another so it is difficult if only imagined. The possibility of misperception between you and me is very likely to occur. But from the few complaints that you give, there are several possibilities that occur here.
Your current complaints are due to complications from your first skin disease that are not handled properly, complications can be in the form of infections, or the disease is becoming more widespread.
In fungal infections there should be no swelling of the skin but there is a picture that resembles an island with a more prominent, active edge. However, this can happen if a fungal infection coexists with other infections.
Swelling / bend you mean can occur due to many things, allergic dermatitis, venenata dermatitis / insect bites, scabies, food allergies, etc. in some of the above diseases there is swelling and itching in the skin.
You can confirm the disorder you are experiencing by consulting a general practitioner directly to the nearest clinic / puskesmas. The doctor must look directly at the skin disorders that you experience to make the diagnosis. Treatment will depend on clinical findings when examined.
Right now all you have to do is:
Avoid using drugs carelessly.
Avoid damp on your feet, for a while do not use shoes that are too closed.
Avoid exposure to dust.
Avoid scratching itchy feet, this can worsen your complaint.
You can reduce your itching by taking antihistamines for a while before seeing a doctor, but remember that drugs do not treat the cause, but only relieve symptoms.
Get enough rest, and eat nutritious foods to increase your immunity.
That's all my answer, thank you very much :)
