Swollen Fingers And Toes?
I am 19 years old, my fingers and toes are swollen, but it doesn’t hurt just sometimes itching. I beg for your advice, is this classified as a disease or not? thank you
Hello, thank you for asking with HealthReplies.com.
Swelling can be caused by many things, including:
- Having an injury or trauma
Lymphfedema: a disorder in the lymph vessels that inhibits the circulation of fluid in the legs.
- Infection: often experienced by people with diabetes and who have nerve problems in the legs.
- Side effects of drug use.
There are many possibilities that cause swelling in the body, so you should check with your doctor so that the doctor can examine you directly. These things you can do at home to help deal with complaints: maintain ideal body weight, lie down and lift your legs higher / up, reduce salt intake, avoid standing too long, consume balanced nutritious food, avoid using clothes that are too tight. If you experience shortness of breath, chest pain, then immediately see a doctor.
