Swollen Gums On The Back?
I want to ask, this is the second time in 1 month that my back gum has swollen to cover my back teeth and it hurts so much, I have read about wisdom teeth growing but I am still 15 years old, please explain what kind of disease I am experiencing. and how to handle it. That is all and thank you
Hi Apriadi .. Thank you for the question.
Swollen gums can occur due to several things for example because:
Ginggivitis / inflammation of the gums
Viral infections or fungal infections
Vitamin C deficiency
Plaque buildup on the gums
Brushing teeth too hard
Swollen gums can cause pain, fever, swollen cheeks, bad breath, to the buildup of pus. If the swelling of your gums does not improve with severe pain, there are cavities, so it's best to check with your dentist immediately. So the doctor can do the examination directly to get further tests. While what you can do is:
Maintain cleanliness of teeth and mouth
Brush your teeth before going to bed and after eating
Eat enough vitamin C, vegetables, and fruits
Compress with a cold towel to reduce pain
If the pain is very able to consume paracetamol according to the dose
