Swollen Nose Accompanied By Discharge Like Pus?
, I want to ask .. my wife is 25 years old, only 3 days of experiencing swelling that is not too big in the nose, but from the left nostril out pus discharge, which causes severe pain and makes the body to a fever, what the cause and how to cure it, thank you.
Good morning, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. Swelling and discharge of pus in the nose, usually occurs because of a bacterial infection in the area. Why this infection can cause a variety of triggers, can be because there is a layer that is injured when scraping the nose, can be due to scratches, insect bites and other causes. This condition which then causes inflammation and causes pain and swelling. In a smaller possibility, nasal polyps or inflammation can occur due to other causes.
Our advice for now is that your wife should be examined by a general practitioner or an ENT doctor regarding her condition, because if there really is a bacterial infection there, she should be treated with antibiotics which antibiotics cannot be obtained without a doctor's prescription. It can also be seen directly if there are other conditions that occur besides the swelling.
Meanwhile, avoid squeezing or touching the painful part, compress it with a warm towel, keep your face clean, consume heat-reducing drugs and pain relievers that are sold freely by reading the rules of use first, and immediately consult a doctor. So, hopefully answering your question.
