Symptoms Of Panic Disorder?
Good afternoon, I am 18 years old naisha. In recent times when I have to deal with many people I suddenly feel scared too panic or anxiety, it feels shortness of breath, nausea, even my hands are trembling. I even sadly hurt my arm with my nails because I held my hand trembling strongly. Before I had never been like this before, I was actively dancing in public, participating in many dance contests too. I also feel that I have no appetite. I lost weight. Do I have a panic disorder / anxiety disorder?
Hello Naisha, Thank you for the question.
Everyone has felt fear and anxiety and these emotions are natural emotions. Usually someone will feel scared or anxious when in a new environment, speaking in public, taking an exam or interview, and others. However, if this fear or anxiety arises in excess, is not caused by a clear trigger, is difficult to control, then you might have an anxiety disorder. Anxiety disorders themselves can be divided into generalized anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and social anxiety disorders. In general, anxiety disorders can cause the following symptoms: palpitations, cold sweat, shortness of breath, chest pain, trembling, abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness, until fainting.
In addition to anxiety disorders, your complaints can also be caused by personality disorders, heart rhythm disorders, or thyroid disease.
