HELLO NIGHT DOCTOR … I just call the 18-year-old rose, right on the 5th day later I will donate blood, but I happen to eat wrong so that there is an allergy, then I take the medicine today on the 3rd day, I consume ctm and not until 5 hours my itching disappeared and returned to normal. Am I still allowed to donate? If not, what. The reason? PLEASE ANSWER … THANK YOU ♥

1 Answer:

Hello Rose,

Blood donation is the act of giving blood to other people or certain institutions voluntarily. The requirements to become a blood donor are:

Age between 17-60 years Minimum body weight 45 kg Systolic blood pressure below 180 mmHg, diastolic blood pressure below 100 mmHg Body temperature between 36.6-37.5 degrees Celsius Regular pulse rate between 50-100 times / minute Hemoglobin levels a minimum of 12 gr% and a maximum of 17 gr% After that there are also several conditions that make a person not allowed to donate, including:

Suffering from hepatitis B, C, HIV / AIDS, or syphilis Suffering from blood clotting abnormalities Suffering from recurring epilepsy Drug or alcoholics Suffering from cancer Being pregnant and within a period of 6 months will give birth History of making new tattoos in the past 6 months in the period during the last 6 months ever received transfusion Routine consumption of certain drugs such as clopidogrel, isotretinoin, warfarin, etc. in the near term after vaccination against polio, influenza, tetanus, diphtheria in the last 24 hours period Not recommended by doctors for blood donor based on examination by CTM doctors are anti-histamine class drugs, if only one item is consumed, of course, within 24 hours after ingestion of its effects in the body has been disposed of with urine. CTM levels in the body's plasma will decrease by 1/2 after 14-24 hours. Harmful side effects due to the use of CTM are also absent. If you are interested in donating, please come to the nearest blood donor center, if you pass other examinations then you might be able to donate your blood.

Thus the explanation from me, may be useful.
