Taking Vitamins Simultaneously While Pregnant?
Hello, I’m 19 weeks pregnant. Yesterday when I was in control at the doctor I was given vitamin osfit DHA, whereas before that I had consumed blackmorse. Can the two vitamins be consumed together? Are there any side effects? Thank you in advance.
Thank you for the question.
Providing additional supplements during pregnancy is very important role to ensure the fetus in the womb is growing optimally, and endurance and maternal stamina are maintained. This supplement is good for its function because it can meet the nutritional needs which are often inadequate due to decreased appetite of pregnant women, likes to choose food, severe nausea and vomiting, even also due to certain diseases that interfere with absorption of food in the digestive tract. However, the selection of supplements during pregnancy should not be done arbitrarily independently, especially for the long term. Because the needs of supplements for each pregnant woman can be different, depending on the condition of the fetus and the mother herself.
Judging from the ingredients, the two supplements you mentioned have some of the same ingredients (ie calcium and DHA), but some are different. Consumption of these two supplements together is actually fine. But if in the long run you do this, worrying about side effects, such as digestive disorders, urinary tract disorders, and so on.
Therefore, as mentioned above, it is better for you to consult a doctor or obstetrician who checks you if you want to add certain supplements in addition to a doctor's supplement to support your pregnancy.
Hope this helps ...
