Teeth Of 2 Year Old Boy Broke When He Fell On The Play Area?
My son 3 days ago his teeth fell out but not all of them left the top and slightly swollen gums, so it’s been a few nights since I had a hard time sleeping because I can’t drink milk, but it’s a habit before going to sleep.. I took it to the dentist but without being given medicine, it is only recommended to take fever-reducing medicine..but that’s not all good..I’m asking for advice..
Thanks for the question. Teeth that are injured by impact, for example from a fall, may break or fall out depending on the force of the impact. As a result of this injury, the gums and surrounding tissue (lips) can bleed and swell. If your child's tooth is broken and the broken tooth is still a baby tooth, in general, the dentist will not provide special treatment because eventually the tooth will fall out and be replaced with a permanent tooth. Doctors will usually give drugs that are symptomatic. Fever reducers, such as paracetamol, are also used to relieve pain. You can give paracetamol medicine according to the recommendations listed on the package regularly to relieve pain. Swelling that appears on the gums will usually subside in some time. You can apply cold compresses to swollen gums by using ice wrapped in a clean cloth and then placing it on the swollen gums. Also advise your child to gargle with warm water mixed with salt. Do not hesitate to return to the doctor if your child's toothache is not treated well with paracetamol or these symptoms do not improve after one week.
Hope this information is useful.
