Testicles Can Be Moved Without Being Touched, Is This Normal?
Regards. I am 23 years old. I want to ask, I can move my testicles without touching them. But only the one on the right can be moved. Is this condition normal? If not, what action do I need to take?
Although it is not normal for some people to be able to move their testicles / testicles, it does not always mean that the person has an abnormality. The testes themselves can actually change positions/move to adjust to good conditions for the testes to produce sperm, so when the temperature is cold, the testicles usually rise so they look smaller or even appear lost in an effort to keep the testes warm. And when the environment becomes hot, the testicles will descend so that they appear to hang in the testicles.
The muscle that affects the change in the position of the testes is the cremaster muscle, in most people this cremaster muscle contracts out of consciousness (cannot be commanded), but in some people it can because it is able to coordinate the muscles around the cremaster muscle or coordinate the cremaster muscle itself so that eventually testes become mobile.
This ability is not directly related to fertility or the health of the person, so to find out whether there are fertility problems or health problems, further evaluation is needed. Because many of those who can move the testicles do not have fertility problems. But it would be better if it is confirmed, then it is advisable to check with a urologist.
