Hallo.. so my anus bleeds when having anal sex but it bleeds a little bit.. and now my anus has been sore for a few days and every time I have a bowel movement there is some kind of yellow lump that looks like it’s squishy.. what’s that supposed to be?

Hi Juranly99,

Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.

Unlike the vagina which is able to produce lubricant when the penis is penetrated, the anus does not have this ability. As a result, anal sex is prone to irritation around the anus, as well as the penis. Symptoms of this irritation can appear as bleeding, pain, soreness, itching, swelling, or abnormal discharge as you experience. Sores and irritation from anal sex can also facilitate the transmission of infections, including sexually transmitted infections.

Need to clarify, when was the last time you had anal sex? Did your current complaint appear close to your anal sex, or did it appear after a long time?

In addition to irritation after anal sex, the anus that feels sore and produces yellow lumps resembling pus can also occur due to the following factors:

Anal fistula (the appearance of an abnormal channel that connects the anus, rectum, or colon with the outer skin) Anal fissure (tear in the wall of the anus or lower rectum) Hemorrhoids (hemorrhoids, swollen veins in the anus or lower rectum) Anal abscess (pouch filled with pus in the anal wall) Infections, such as gonorrhea (gonorrhea), folliculitis, genital herpes, anal cancer, colorectal cancer, etc. Your condition requires proper medical treatment. Because, if the cause is an infection, then this condition can be spread or transmitted through your sexual partners. And if the cause is related to malignancy (cancer), then the cancer cells can expand so that it is more difficult to treat. Therefore, immediately check your complaint to the doctor. Not only a physical examination, the doctor may also recommend that you undergo supporting tests, such as colonoscopy or also taking a sample of secretions from the anus for microscopic examination.

In the meantime, you should avoid having anal sex and other risky sexual activities, such as changing sexual partners, having sex with people whose sexual history is not clear, and not using condoms. Always clean your anus and genitals using good quality water after urinating. Choose pants and underwear made of soft and clean. Do not touch the sore anus excessively, let alone use hands that are doubtful of cleanliness.

Hope it helps ya..
