Complaints of pain in the back of the oral cavity and sore throat can occur due to many factors, one of which is consuming types of irritating foods or drinks, such as oily foods (fried, sauteed), crackers & chips, instant noodles, and packaged drinks for example. Usually complaints due to irritation will improve within a few days as long as the type of food & drink is no longer consumed.
If this complaint does not get better, it is possible that the food & drink is still being consumed, or because of a bacterial or viral infection. Besides that uncontrolled heartburn can also cause sore throat.
On the other hand, the throat, nasal cavity, and ears are connected to one another, so it is not uncommon if one of them experiences complaints, the other part also experiences complaints, where the nose can experience more nasal mucus production (snot), nose congestion, sneezing, and even difficulty breathing. Whereas the ear will cause a feeling of fullness / blockage in the ear, pain, hearing loss.
Ayu is expected to go to an ear nose and throat (ENT) specialist so that further evaluation can be carried out, to determine what condition Ayu is actually experiencing. With that in mind, proper treatment and handling can be adjusted according to the conditions causing the complaint.
