The Black Mole On The Head Is Getting Bigger, The Surface Is Protruding And Irregular Shape?
Hello, I have a mole on my head, this mole has been around since I was a baby. As I grow, the mole enlarges, the surface is not flat / prominent, the shape is not regular, not oval / round like a normal mole. but when I press it doesn’t hurt and the color is always black. Does that include melanoma? or no?
Thank you for the question.
Some types of moles really need to be aware of are part of the symptoms of a malignancy, namely melanoma (cancer originating from melanocytes, cells that produce skin pigment). As for some danger signs that you should be aware of are:
Irregular shape of moles
Limit moles not firm, rude
The color of the moles is different
The size of a mole is very large (more than 6 mm), and can continue to enlarge rapidly
At first glance, the mole as you mentioned may indeed refer to dangerous conditions, but it may or may not. This certainly cannot be determined solely based on brief information as you mentioned. Therefore, you need to check yourself to a doctor or dermatologist. If you really suspect a condition that leads to malignancy, it may be that the doctor will direct you to do a biopsy or refer you to an oncology surgeon.
At this time, it is recommended that you not carelessly manipulate the mole in any way. Always take care of yourself to stay clean, use clothes that are also comfortable. Do not forget, always wear sunscreen that contains SPF 30 or more on your body every time you indulge.
Hope this helps ...
