Good evening, thanks for the question
Good wound care is one of the important points in the healing process. The factors that affect the speed of wound healing include:
1. The condition of the wound is clean (free of dirt and germs)
2. The wound is always moist, especially the one that is open to the deeper part of the skin
3. Good nutritional and nutritional status
If one of the three things above is not optimal, it can result in a long healing wound, even in severe conditions, the wound will develop into a serious infection.
Make sure your wound is always germ-free by regularly cleaning the wound at least twice per day using sterile liquid and an antiseptic solution and then closing it if the wound is still wet with sterile gauze. Initially the wound is cleaned of dirt using 0.9% NaCl solution or with water that has been boiled until it is boiling then wait for it to warm. then administer an antiseptic, a material that can be used and easily obtained for wound antiseptics, for example 1% povidone iodine or 70% alcohol.
Give moisture to the wound, one of them by using oleas medicine according to your doctor's recommendation.
Finally, consume foods that are nutritionally balanced and rich in protein to support a good wound healing process.
Make sure beforehand that you have done the three points above properly and correctly in treating your wound.
It needs to be watched out if a wound is found that has not healed for more than 1 week, is bleeding pus and causes symptoms such as fever, weakness, swelling, and increased pain. Consult your doctor if you encounter symptoms like the above.
Hopefully can help,
