The Body Feels Uncomfortable, Hot And Cold, And Shortness Of Breath When Exposed To Air Conditioning?
Good morning. For the past few weeks I have been working in an air-conditioned room when I get home from work, I feel my body feels cold but my body temperature is hot, and my chest feels tight. Am I not resistant to AC? Thank you😊
Thank you for the question.
Exposure to ambient temperatures that are too cold indeed in some people who are sensitive can make the body feel uncomfortable, hot cold, and shortness of breath. Usually, this condition is experienced by people who are allergic to cold or have problems with endurance.
It could also, in addition because of exposure to cold temperatures, your complaints that feel hot and cold tightness occurs due to other factors, such as viral or bacterial infections, dyspepsia (increased stomach acid), panic attacks, hormonal disorders, allergic other substances, side effects of drugs, etc.
Does your condition repeat every day? Does the hot cold and tightness really interfere with your activities?
If so, you should not let this condition continue. Check with yourself directly to a doctor or internist in order to be given the right treatment according to the underlying cause. In the meantime, you can take the following steps:
Ask your work position not too close to the air conditioner, if possible When working, use a jacket or warm clothes Drink more warm water Compress your chest with warm water Do not contact with substances that make you allergic Eat regularly, small portions but often , do not overdo food and drink that contain gas, such as mustard greens, cabbage, tubers, coconut milk, fried foods, soda, coffee, tea. Don't over-stress.
