Good evening, thanks for the question
Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis which can attack various organs especially the lungs.
Based on its location, tuberculosis is classified into pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis. Extrapulmonary tuberculosis can occur in various organs such as lymph nodes, pleura, abdomen, skin, bones, joints, urinary tract, and so on.
The most common manifestation of extrapulmonary lymphadenitis is TB or lymph node TB which is an inflammatory process in the lymph nodes or lymph nodes due to the activity of bacteria that cause tubeculosis.
In TB lymphadenitis, the most common symptoms other than lumps in the neck are weakness, weight loss, fever, cough are common.
In this case the patient can feel chills at night due to conditions of infection in the blood that trigger a reaction to an increase in the set point of temperature in the brain, causing fever to shiver. As TB germ infections are topped up with optimal treatment using a TB drug regimen, these complaints will decrease. These complaints are part of the course of TB disease, for that treatment for at least 6 months should not be stopped.
To overcome this you can take heat-lowering drugs such as paracetamol and restore immunity after TB infection by eating healthy and nutritious food and exercising regularly.
That's all, hope you can help
Wassalam. Dr. Farah
