The Calf Muscles Up To The Ankles Feel Stiff After Surgery To Replace The Right Hip Joint?
Morning. A month ago my husband had surgery to replace the right hip joint. But now there is still a stiff feeling as the muscles are attracted to the muscles of the calf to the ankles. Are these reasonable conditions
Hi, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com
Complaints that your husband feels can be normal for someone who has just had surgery on his legs. What needs attention is if:
1. Complaints increasingly heavy.
2. The limbs become swollen.
3. Can not feel in the limbs.
4. Painful limbs cannot be moved.
If this happens, immediately control the doctor who has taken the action. The doctor will do a direct physical examination and X-ray or MRI examination if needed. In the meantime, you should move your limbs gradually and slowly to train and prevent stiffness and muscle contraction due to not being moved.
Thus hopefully useful.
