The Cause Is Often Pain In The Ankles, Knees, Elbows, And Wrists?
Hello, I am 28 years old, I often experience pain in the legs, knees, sometimes spread to the back of the waist (hips), elbows and wrists. I had an accident but it wasn’t seriously injured but I just sat down and felt pain in my coccyx. What might be the cause because I fell or what?
Hello Rini Febronia,
For complaints of pain in the legs, knee pain, low back pain, elbows and wrists, can be caused by various things:
Pain due to repeated use / heavy activities, lifting heavy loads, repetition activities for a long time. Arthritis, a swollen condition in the joints that can be caused by a condition after a fall / trauma, gout, or conditions of rheumatoid arthritis Sprains, injuries that cause pressure on the muscles and connective tissue of the muscles, can be caused by sitting position incorrectly for a long time, slipping, or stretching excess muscle. Radiculopathy, an abnormality of spinal cord conditions, can be in the form of compressions that cause symptoms of pain / tingling. Can also occur on the wrist or elbow, with symptoms of pain and tingling in the wrist. Accidents in the sitting position need to be considered as a condition that causes pain in the waist that travels to the feet, but not related to pain in the elbows and wrists experienced. For clarity, it is recommended to go to a doctor, imaging / x-ray examination will be considered if necessary.
For a while at home several things can be done:
Avoid strenuous activities using areas that are felt pain. Note when pain usually arises (whether after heavy activity / prolonged, or suddenly appear alone) If the pain appears / accompanied by swelling warm compresses can be done on the area. Temporary painkillers can be consumed if the pain is severe. Hopefully this information helps you,
