The Cause Of Babies Aged 2 Months Always Defecate After Breastfeeding?
Late night. I want to ask. My child is 2 months and 3 days old, it’s been almost a day to say that he always defecates every time he has to suckle. And the color of the chapter is also not normal than usual where the color of the stool is greenish and there is mucus but for the texture it is loose and not too runny. Incidentally 3 days ago my baby had a fever because of immunization. Does this have any effect on immunization or my baby has diarrhea? Thank you in advance
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, babies who are breastfed can indeed defecate every time the baby suckles. These conditions are normal conditions that occur. If indeed the CHAP has changed after the DPT immunization, then maybe the change in the CHAP is due to the immunization received. One of the side effects of DPT immunization is discomfort in the stomach, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
You should pay attention to the condition of your baby. As long as the baby does not have a fever, looks active, the baby is suckling well, does not look limp, the baby is still urinating in sufficient quantities, then you have nothing to worry about. Feed the baby as usual or more if the diarrhea is frequent and monitor the baby's condition for the next 2-3 days. If indeed the more frequent bowel movements, the number is more, there is blood in the bowel or chapter looks no longer berampas, visible signs of dehydration in infants, immediately take your baby to the pediatrician to get further evaluation.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
