Hello Annisa, thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Let me introduce myself that Rio will try to answer your question.
Increased levels of leukocytes or white blood cells or called leukocytosis is a sign of inflammation, allergies, infections in the body to very high numbers can be a sign of malignancy / blood cancer. These white blood cells or leukocytes originate from the bone marrow and are present throughout the bloodstream. One of these white blood cells functions in the body's immune system against several diseases.
Normally, white blood cell levels are 4,500-10,500 cells / µL of blood. If more than 10,500 cells / µL of blood is experienced in the body as follows:
Increased production of white blood cells that aim to fight inflammation and infection. Immune system disorders that make white blood cell production increase. Reactions to drugs that increase white blood cell production. Bone marrow disease causes white blood cell production to rise abnormally. Antibiotic treatment is given to sick people whose diseases are caused by bacterial infections. However, the use of antibiotics should not be used haphazardly and must be according to doctor's instructions / instructions. So now what you can do is consult your doctor about the progress of your condition and the results of the laboratory that you have done. Because the treatment given by the doctor is based on the history, physical examination of the patient and supporting examinations if needed.
A few answers from me, hopefully it helps.
Thank you :)
