The Cause Of Feeling The Pulse In The Brain?
Am I really suffering from a tremor in the brain? I have symptoms in my head of pulsations or vibrations that I feel when I wake up. Unlike a heart whose pulse is felt but not realized. This vibration is very disturbing my activities when I am thinking or sitting still and that makes me so lazy to talk with others. Please provide a medical explanation and how the right solution for my treatment. Thank you please answer the doctor / mother
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically the term tremor describes the contraction and relaxation of muscles that occur alternately quickly and unconsciously. Therefore the term brain tremor is very improper to use and does not exist in the medical world (because the brain is not the same as a muscle, in the brain there is also no muscle, the brain cannot contract and relax as a muscle).
If what you mean is that you feel a pulse in your head, then some of the possible causes are:
occipital neuralgia (headaches due to disorders of the occipital nerve)
temporal arteritis (inflammation of the arteries of the temporal arteries)
side effects of certain drugs
the effect of stopping caffeine (caffeine withdrawal)
excessive alcohol consumption
disorders of the blood vessels of the brain (aneurysm or AVM)
If indeed this condition is very disturbing for you, you should check with a neurologist so that you can further evaluate the exact cause of the pulse in your head. You can try to consume pain relievers such as paracetamol for a while, get enough rest and sleep (7-9 hours a day), drink and eat enough, and avoid alcohol consumption.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
