The Cause Of Fever Up And Down In Children Who Never Recover?
Good night Parid.
Child's heat needs to be ascertained by measuring the child's body temperature using a thermometer. If the body temperature is above 37.5 degrees Celsius it can be said to have a fever. Fever itself has many causes ranging from infections of the airways, urinary tract or digestive tract due to bacterial, viral or parasitic infections, diseases that arise from mosquito bites such as dengue fever or malaria, arthritis, lack of fluids or dehydration and other causes.
If on the 3rd day the examination has been carried out and the 6th day is still feverish, it is better to be re-examined because there are several examinations that have not caused changes on the 3rd day or cause false negative results. For that, re-check your child at the pediatrician to be re-evaluated either by physical examination or supporting examinations such as repeat blood lab, typhoid examination, urine or x-ray tests if needed.
Give the child more fluids, try to get the child resting enough, keep giving the medicine according to the doctor's instructions, measure the child's body temperature regularly, compress the child if it has a fever and give the fever-lowering medication and check it back to make sure what causes it.
