The Cause Of Fingers Often Experience Tremors?
Hello, good night. Introduce me Nia at the age of 22. I want to ask, is the tremor in the fingers always a symptom of an illness in our body? Because I have experienced trembling of my fingers since the age of 18 (and since then it has rarely been a sport). Example: my fingers vibrate when praying (fingers pointing when tahiyat), or when I want to take pictures using a cellphone, I have to use both hands because if only one hand usually the cellphone will vibrate and the photo will blur. Can tremor be reduced / eliminated by regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle? Thank you doctor 🙂
Wa'alaikumsallam Nia. Thankyou for asking.
A tremor is a condition in which repeated vibrations occur in an area of the body, generally felt in the hands, arms, or head region of the neck. Tremors can be divided into tremors that are smooth movements, or tremors that are rough movements so that tremors are more clearly visible. Some physical conditions cause tremors that are more obvious when someone is on the move, but other physical conditions can cause tremors to be evident precisely when at rest.
Some possible conditions that you experience are:
Muscle weakness due to dehydration, hypoglycemia, anemia
Overuse of muscles and joints resulting in injury and inflammation
Hormonal disorders such as hyperthyroidism
Nerve disorders, can originate from central nervous disorders in the brain or peripheral nerves
You should consult with an internist or neurologist to get further tests. The doctor will probably do a physical examination to see how clear your tremor is, do an electromyography or if necessary the doctor will do a lab and X-ray examination. You can try to adopt a healthy lifestyle and diet, increase exercise 3-5 times a week, limit caffeine consumption. Hopefully this answer can slightly add to your horizons. Regards.
