Hello rezelie,
Thank you for the question.
Colds, olfactory disorders, and headaches may indicate you have sinusitis (inflammation of the sinus cavity). This condition usually occurs due to blockage of the connecting channel between the nasal cavity and sinuses, such as due to infection, benign or malignant tumors, allergies, foreign body entry, and anatomic disorders of the nasal cavity.
Not just sinusitis, your complaints may also be caused by other factors, such as nasal polyps, swelling of the nose, rhinitis, trigeminal neuralgia, brain tumors, Bell's palsy, and so on.
To improve, you can first try to do the following suggestions:
Take paracetamol to reduce headaches
Warm compresses on the outside of your nose
Irrigation your nasal cavity alternately using NaCl liquid that is sprayed with a syringe (injection) that has been removed by the needle
More rest
Stay away from contact with cold, dry air, and anything else that makes you allergic
Do not pry excessive nose
Do not carelessly take other medicines without doctor's advice
If until a long time the complaint does not improve, if there is an unbearable headache, recurring nosebleeds, foul-smelling nasal discharge, high fever for more than 3 days, and other more severe complaints, immediately check with your doctor or ENT doctor to be given appropriate management huh ..
I hope this helps.
