The Cause Of Nausea, Difficulty Breathing, And The Tongue Feels Strange After Eating Too Late?
Hello, I was late eating because I forgot. then the stomach feels sore. then i eat. an hour later I felt nauseous, had difficulty breathing and felt strange on my tongue, like there was sand / dust.
Good evening, thanks for the question
Complaints of abdominal pain accompanied by a sour, bitter, or uncomfortable feeling in the mouth may be caused by the condition of stomach acid rising to the esophagus. Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is reflux or backflow of stomach acid through a valve in the esophagus that is not functioning normally. Symptoms include burning and burning in the back of the chest or solar plexus and can spread to the neck accompanied by nausea and vomiting, or sour taste in the mouth after or before eating.
Therapy is by administering drugs that is by giving high doses of Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPI) for a long time based on doctor's recommendation and lifestyle changes. The drug is useful for suppressing the production of gastric acid as well as facilitating healing of the gastric wall mucosa.
To prevent the recurrence of similar symptoms, lifestyle changes need to be made, namely:
1. Reduce weight if overweight
2. Stop smoking
3. Do not consume substances that irritate the stomach such as coffee, pain medications, and alcohol
4. Eat a maximum of 2-4 hours before bedtime
5. Eat small portions and reduce fatty foods
Consult with your doctor to get the right treatment. Beware if there are then complaints of weight loss, vomiting of blood or black bowel movements, difficulty swallowing, swallowing pain, and appear pale.
That's all, hope you can help
