The Cause Of Pain In The Cheek Without Injury
Doctor, it’s been 4 days since my cheek hurts. No wound on the cheek inside, no wound on the cheek outside. But if touched it hurts. There are no bumps. Then I check using my hands by pinching the inside and outside cheeks using my fingers. Like there is a large vein palpable. Move motion. The shape is round and then like a gland and there is an elongated tissue. It’s on the middle cheek. But if it is not touched there is no visible vein / lump. I’m so scared, doc. Is that cancer?
Hello Cahyani, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
I will try to help answer.
Complaints of the appearance of bumps on the cheeks, such as glands, round shape, pain can be caused by:
Lipomas are lumps that contain fatty tissue
Cysts are lumps that contain fluid
Hemangiomas are benign blood vessel tumors
Pimples or acne
Warts or warts
Hematoma is swelling of blood vessels usually due to impact or trauma
To better know the symptoms that lead to what disease and dangerous or not, it should be further examined by a doctor. Later the doctor will do a physical examination related to complaints that arise, and may even require additional examinations such as taking a small piece of tissue to be examined in the laboratory. If the lump gets bigger, feels very painful, it is advisable to check with a doctor, so that further action can be taken.
Some things to do at home:
Compress with warm water
Avoid holding or squeezing the lump
Clean your face regularly
Thus a brief explanation from me, hopefully can help. thanks.
