Hello, It has been 3 days that I have experienced quite a high fever, on the fourth day my body temperature has returned to normal but my head still feels dizzy and painful. On the fourth day there are many small pimples on the face, especially the forehead me, and feels a little sick. This is the first time I have had a lot of severe acne. Is this reasonable? Do you think it’s the trigger?

Hello jesika

Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com

All pimples including the forehead are caused by clogged pores by sebum or oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. When this happens, the glands can become inflamed and acne will appear and develop. Clogged pores due to oil and dead skin cells have many triggers, namely:

Hormone changes: Unbalanced hormone levels during puberty or menstrual syndrome (PMS) can usually trigger an overactive oil gland. As a result, sebum production can be excessive so that the pores become more easily blocked. hair products: various hair products that you use can be a source of acne triggers on the forehead. Ingredients in products such as cocoa butter or coconut oil for example can make your skin more oily. Skin irritation: Using makeup on the forehead or hat can cause irritation to the forehead and trigger acne. stress and fatigue side effects from the medicines you take. Steroids, anticonvulsants, barbiturates, or lithium can trigger acne. there are several many causes that might occur, maybe when you have a fever you don't take a shower and shampooing can cause acne, or you take the drug related above when you have a fever. so there is no relationship between fever and acne arise without other causes.

You should consult a dermatologist if you feel uncomfortable with the acne, so the doctor can do a direct examination and provide appropriate therapy such as drugs taken, creams or actions such as lesions etc.

There are a number of things you can do at home:

Wash your face regularly twice a day Routine shampooing so that hair does not oily Do not touch the face with dirty hands Using makeup products or cleansers that are labeled non-comedogenic Drinking enough water at least 8-12 glasses a day so that we can provide information
