The Cause Of Swelling In The Front Calf But Does Not Feel Pain?
Hello, I’m 25 years old. About 1 week, the front area of my calf (not the calf) I am swollen but not sick. I do work for a long time, usually up to 10 more hours. Although the swelling is all normal and is this a normal condition because of standing for too long. Please explain, thank you.
Hello Bro. Husni, thank you for consulting us on HealthReplies.com.
Feet or in this case the calf thighs until the sole of the foot is a member of the body which is located below. If in a condition, causing increased fluid pressure to the leg area, it may be possible to cause fluid to build up in the foot area, causing the foot to become swollen. This can occur because the pressure of fluid needed to return fluid to the heart to pump again is very strong, the reason being the influence of the earth's gravity force. Even though the pressure is already strong, but there must be some liquid left behind and accumulating in the leg area, then the foot will look bigger and swollen.
If by changing the position of the feet to be high / away from the gravity of the earth, and also resting the feet in a while while getting the legs that are in posture as before, then it is most likely indeed the effect of your long standing activity that causes fluid to accumulate in the legs. However, if the condition (swelling) does not decrease despite changing the position of the foot, and accompanied by other symptoms such as pain, warm palpation, excessive swelling, and decreased function, then the exact cause must be sought because of what, whether due to infection, venous insufficiency / malfunctioning valves in venous blood vessels, indications leading to heart and liver disorders, and long-term inflammation of the lining of the heart or due to side effects of certain drugs
Therefore, of course we strongly encourage you, to consult with your chosen doctor so that you are examined thoroughly and thoroughly. If the underlying cause has been found, the doctor will usually give you the right treatment and minimal side effects.
