Hello Receipt, Thank you for the question.
Milia are small, white, pimple-like bumps that appear due to keratin trapped in the oil glands in the skin. Milia generally appear on the face and chest area. Apart from the appearance of these small lumps, in general, milia does not cause other symptoms. In general milia is harmless and can disappear by itself in a few weeks or months so it does not require special treatment.
If it's black, then a small bump on your skin is not milia. The cause of your symptoms such as blackheads, dysplastic nevus (moles that have characteristics that are different from normal moles), basal cell carcinoma, or squamous cell carcinoma.
If these black spots / lumps get bigger, you should immediately ascertain the reason by checking with the nearest dermatologist today or tomorrow. The doctor needs to do a direct examination of the spots / bumps in question. Usually the doctor also needs to do a biopsy (taking skin tissue samples to be examined in the laboratory). After confirming the cause, the doctor will provide further treatment. Please keep your facial skin clean by cleaning it regularly with a gentle facial cleansing soap (without fragrance and without alcohol) and keep using sunscreen if you are outdoors.
I hope this helps.
