The Cause Of The Bigger Cheek On The Left?
I want to ask, my left cheek is large, even though I often eat/chew using my right cheek. Why is that?? So how do you return it?
Hi Ade.. Thank you for the questions given.
Cheek enlargement / swelling can be normal because not all parts of the body are symmetrical and the same between the left and right sides. Meanwhile, swollen and enlarged cheeks can occur due to:
Infection of the salivary glands (parotitis) Infection of the teeth Inflammation of the gums (gingivitis) Enlarged lymph nodes Tumor If you feel the lump persists, gets bigger, has fever, redness, pain, you should see a doctor. The doctor will perform a physical examination directly so that a diagnosis can be made. Meanwhile what you can do:
Warm compresses if you feel pain and swelling Keep your teeth and mouth clean You can eat on both sides of the mouth alternately so that tartar is not easy to occur on the side teeth that are rarely used for chewing Hopefully this is useful
