The Cause Of The Black Bumps On The Nose That Doesn’t Go Flat?
I want to ask on my nose there is a black lump that has been treated, it has been pressed, but it doesn’t heal. Please answer … Thank you
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Need to clarify, where exactly is the lump located? Is it inside the nasal cavity or on the outside? How big is the size? How long has it been in appearance? Is it painful or itchy?
If black bumps appear on the outside of the nose, this condition can be caused by the following factors:
Keloids (overgrowth of post-wound or inflammatory scar tissue that far exceeds the size of the original wound or inflammation)
Skin infections, for example due to folliculitis, furuncles, warts
Contact dermatitis (skin inflammation due to contact with an irritating substance, or also due to allergies to certain substances in contact with the skin)
Tumors, can be benign or malignant (for example, neurofibromatosis, lipoma, cyst, melanoma), etc.
If the lump has appeared for a long time, you should check it directly to a doctor or a dermatologist. It is feared that this lump appears as a result of malignancy that needs to be treated quickly and appropriately before it spreads and causes more serious complications. If necessary, the doctor will take some tissue samples from the lump to be examined microscopically for its constituent cells in the laboratory.
In the meantime, it's best not to squeeze any lumps that appear so that they don't cause pain, irritation, or injury. Also, don't over-hold the lump to minimize the risk of infection. Keep your facial skin clean by regularly washing your face using a cleansing soap that matches your skin type and avoiding direct exposure to sunlight during the day.
Hope it helps ..
