The Cause Of The Body Itching Without Cause?
when I was on campus (outdoor) itching suddenly felt on the neck, the itchy area of the skin does not have bumps or rashes, the skin looks very normal. Some time later itching spreads from the neck to the chest and shoulders. Itching that I feel is very unbearable, itch like a very small needle stick. Less than an hour passed the itching disappears instantly without leaving a mark. I guess why? Please provide information along with anticipation and treatment solutions for this.
Good morning, thanks for the question
The cause of itching without abnormalities in the skin or appearing and disappearing suddenly may be caused by:
1. Dry skin
If no red rashes or other skin disorders are found on the itchy area, dry skin may be the cause. Dry skin can trigger an itchy reaction due to skin barrier that is not functioning properly. In this condition the skin can appear scales, peeling, and mild to moderate itching sensation.
Prevention and treatment is by:
- Use skin moisturizers regularly
- Use sunscreen regularly to prevent sunburn and skin damage
- Use mild soap and washing detergent that does not irritate the skin
- Not bathing with warm water for a long time
- Increase intake of green leafy vegetables and reduce consumption of high fat foods
Urticaria or biduran is a reaction of blood vessels in the skin due to various causes. Characterized by local swelling / bumps that arise suddenly and disappear without leaving a mark in less than an hour, pale and reddish in color, and rise on the surface of the skin. Complaints are usually in the form of itching, stinging or puncture. Moderate-severe itching on the skin accompanied by bumps on the face, hands, feet, and even almost all over the body.
Treatment in mild conditions is the provision of anti-histamine drugs on the recommendation of doctors to suppress allergic reactions that occur, and it is recommended to avoid the causes of the above. If symptoms occur due to a history of physical factors (heat, cold, sunlight), then wear closed clothing, use sunscreen, or avoid using air conditioner.
That's all, hope you can help
