The Cause Of The Emergence Of Several Bumps In The Armpit That Sometimes Feels Painful
I am a woman of 23 years old. I have a lump in the armpit in about 2 years. The lump was initially small but became increasingly large added and felt painful. Now there are 3 lumps, but the largest lump appears prdm the smaller in size but more often enlarged with pain. When pressed it feels painful and dense. I don’t use deodorant and shaver. There are foods that cause pain that appears like shrimp with burnt processing. I have checked with a tumor specialist and it is stated that my infection was given medication and ointment, but the lumps did not heal and disappear. I began to worry because of the pain that arises. Are my lumps dangerous? And are the foods I need to avoid related to the signs I mentioned?
Hello Nurmuslimah, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Complaints of lumps can occur anywhere in the body one of them on the armpits. Armpit lumps can be caused by a variety of conditions including:
1. Lymphadenitis, inflammation of the lymph nodes accompanied by pain usually due to bacterial infection
2. Lymphadenopathy, enlarged lymph nodes without pain
3. Abscess or boil
4. Allergic reaction
6. Lipoma, tumor of fat tissue
7. Breast cancer, and so on
To handle this, a complete examination needs to be done first to find the exact cause. Examination in the form of a direct physical examination and other additional checks needed such as blood tests, mammography, biopsy, allergy testing, breast ultrasound, and so on. If a complaint in the form of a bacterial infection of course handling antibiotics is needed, if it is caused by allergies, of course it must be given hypo-allergenic, and so on. Dangerous or not a lump is very dependent on the underlying cause.
For now what can be done is:
- Perform a healthy lifestyle
- Avoid foods that cause symptoms to appear
- Warm compresses on the breast that are bumpy and painful
- Don't press on the lump let alone stab it
- Keep the armpit area clean
- Take Paracetamol to ease your pain
If complaints continue to be felt or even felt burdens immediately to the doctor for further examination and treatment.
So, hopefully useful
