The Cause Of The Left Breast Nipple Does Not Come Out?
Hi doctor, I want to ask. I have a slight problem in my breast section. Why on my left breast, the nipple is not coming out huh? So it doesn’t grow even though I’m 27 years old.
Hello Indah, thank you for asking with HealthReplies.com.
Need to be clarified about your complaints on the breast that is not growing, is there a difference in overall breast size between right and left breast or only on the nipple area?
Breasts generally have different sizes between the right and left breast. In general, the nipple will protrude as a whole beyond the surface of the areola (dark area around the nipple). But in 10-20% of women can be found nipples that are flat, go in or sink (invered nipple). Most cases of submerged nipples are a harmless condition and are carried from birth, but a small portion is indeed caused by several medical conditions such as breast infections (mastitis or abscess), breast cancer, or complications from breast surgery.
It is better to consult directly with the surgeon, because the doctor requires a physical examination directly about your complaint, whether it is a dangerous condition or a particular disease. If there are indeed different sizes or nipples that are sinking, your doctor may recommend surgery according to medical indications.
