Hello dwi
Thank you for the question.
Pain in the left chest can be caused by many things, depending on what the pain is, what triggers chest pain, and whether there are accompanying symptoms such as shortness of breath, history of treatment, history of previous illnesses, and others.
The following are common causes of left-sided chest pain:
Problems with digestion, such as GERD, dyspepsia, maupungastritis. Problems with the muscles and chest cartilage, such as costchondritis. Psychological problems such as psychosomatic disorders. Lung problems, such as pruritus, asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and pleural effusion. Heart problems such as heart failure or heart attack. Covid-19 or corona outbreaks are on the rise lately and are worrying, but you don't need to worry, because most of the cases don't have the symptoms you say.
Here are things you can do to reduce chest pain:
Relaxation exercise. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold 4 seconds, and exhale for 4 seconds. Repeat several times. Improve eating patterns, eat a little but often. Avoiding foods / drinks that are acidic, spicy, fatty, contain caffeine (chocolate, coffee, tea), and gas (broccoli, cauliflower, soft drinks). Avoiding sleep after eating, set a break 2-3 hours before going to lie down. Drink 2-3 liters of water per day. Manage stress well. Temporarily reduce heavy lifting. Regular exercise 3-5 times per week. If your condition experiences worsening within the next 3 days, accompanied by shortness of breath, chest pain such as overpressure, chest pain that spreads to your hands, accompanied by vomiting and cold sweat, contact your doctor immediately.
Hopefully this information can help you and hopefully your condition will gradually improve.
Regards.
