The Cause Of The Lips Is Swollen And There Is A Lump?
Hello, I want to ask. From a few days ago I felt my lips dry but I think it happened because I have a fever. But suddenly the outer part of my lip is swollen and above the swelling it looks like a small nipple, I often use lipstick so I don’t think it’s an allergy due to using lipstick, why do you think? Thank you
Hi, Thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Swollen lips can be caused by:
allergic reactions such as food allergies, or other skin products other than lipstick, insect bites, injuries such as being bitten by herpes labialis (herpes simplex virus infection), swollen gums, canker sores inside the walls of your mouth You can do the following suggestions:
Do an ice pack on the swollen area, consume more water, avoid licking your lips too often, avoid consuming salty foods and sour foods. Please see your doctor if the complaint has occurred for more than 3 days so that the doctor can check the swollen lips to determine treatment next. The doctor will provide treatment depending on the severity.
Hope this information is helpful.
