The Cause Of The Right Testicle Feels Swollen And Loose?
Good morning, I want to ask. I’ve had a sagging right testicle this week and came down and it’s big. Should I have surgery, is there any other alternative? Please help
Hello Duy, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
Testicles normally have different sizes right and left. One testicle (generally the left) usually hangs lower than the other. However, if there is a sudden change in the size of the testicle (the testicle feels bigger or hangs lower than usual), it is necessary to suspect a certain disease. A testicle that looks lopsided can be caused by several possibilities, including:
Hernia or descending intestine
Hydrocele or fluid buildup around the testicles
Varicocele or enlargement of the blood vessels around the testicles
Spermatocele or fluid buildup around the sperm storage area (epididymis)
Epididymitis or inflammation of the sperm storage area
Orchitis or inflammation of the testicles
You should first find out the exact cause of the enlargement of your testicles. Enlarged testicles caused by epididymitis or orchitis, for example, do not require surgery and can be treated with drugs alone. However, if indeed the enlarged testicle is caused by a hernia or a descending intestine, then the only therapy that can be done is surgery. We recommend that you check with your doctor first to find out more clearly the cause and the best management that can be done to treat the condition.
Go to the hospital immediately if you see your testicles enlarge rapidly, there is severe pain, the testicles look red and feel hot.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
