The Cause Of The Shadow Appears In Vision?
Hello,. I want to ask while looking in the mirror in the eye with the black part there is like an outline shape again, like a shadow. is it really from there or because of the minus / cylindrical eye?
Good evening, thanks for the question
Complaints mentioned above should be carried out a physical examination directly by the doctor to avoid misinterpretation. If what is meant is that there is a grayish white circle found on the outer side of the cornea of the eye or called the corneal arcus, the condition occurs due to deposition of fat and cholesterol.
Corneal arc is generally experienced by older people so it is called as senile arcus. If young adults experience the condition it is likely due to genetic influences and is associated with high cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. However, you should consult with your ophthalmologist for further examination. In general, disorders of the cornea are not related to the condition of the eye minus or nearsightedness.
That's all, hope you can help.
