The Cause Of The Squint And Also Big Side.?
, I want to ask. I am 15 years old. I have squinted since I was a child. I had cataract surgery on my left eye when I was 7 years old and my right eye had been exposed to min 0.5 and cylinder 2.but every time in school I felt my eyes were blurry and difficult. to see when the lesson is written on the blackboard even though I have changed glasses but it’s the same, I wear glasses already from grade 1 elementary school and over time I find it difficult to follow the lessons and grades go down, how about like this? Can it be cured right?
Hello Desitaa, thank you for using HealthReplies.com
Blurred eyes are loss of visual acuity and inability to see an object in detail, which can be caused by refractive eye disorders (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism or cylinders), cataracts (turbidity in the lens of the eye), glaucoma (increased eye pressure), infections, contact lenses, diabetes, side effects of drugs or vitamins, and high blood pressure.
Aside from the causes of blurred eyes above, squinting or strabismus can also worsen the function of vision because both eyes do not move in the same direction so that it can cause double vision, uncoordinated eye movement, and loss of vision or depth perception.
If after the use of glasses the sharpness of your eyesight does not improve, then there is a possibility of interference with other organs besides the lens of the eye. I suggest to consult directly with an ophthalmologist so that a thorough examination can be carried out, such as question and answer, vital signs examination, physical examination of the eye such as visual acuity test, field of view test, eyeball movement test, eye ball pressure examination and additional examination if necessary so that treatment can be given according to your diagnosis.
As for the things you can do right now are:
Not smoking Consumption of nutritious foods Eye exercises are good for strengthening and balancing the two eyes. Using an eye patch to close a functioning eye can help weak eyes. Avoiding stress Exercise regularly So the information I can give, hopefully can help you.
