The Cause Of The Stomach Constantly Throbbing?
! My stomach keeps beating today, I want to ask, can I take medicine bought from a pharmacy, such as Indonesian ulcer patch? R nThank you!
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
The throbbing sensation around the stomach (upper stomach) doesn't always come from the stomach. It could be, this complaint occurs due to your muscles experiencing cramps, for example due to over-activity, for example activities that involve contraction of the abdominal muscles, such as running, going up and down stairs, lifting or pulling heavy loads, and so on. Or, this throbbing sensation may arise due to normal peristalsis in the intestines or abdominal aortic pulsations, which are the large blood vessels in the abdominal area.
The correct throbbing originating from the stomach may occur due to the following reasons:
Gastritis (inflammation of the gastric mucosa)
Gastric ulcers (sores resonating in the stomach wall)
GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease)
Obstructive ileus (intestinal obstruction, can be due to hardened stool or tumor)
Cholangitis (inflammation of the bile)
Pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas)
Gastroenteritis (gastrointestinal infection), and so on
We are not authorized to recommend the use of certain patches because the benefits and side effects have not been tested in overcoming the throbbing sensation of the skin. Plus, we don't know exactly what composition the patch you mentioned contains. Chances are, it will be safer if you use a warm compress to reduce discomfort around your gut.
In addition, to help resolve your complaint, you can also try the following efforts:
Eat more discipline, 4 to 6 hours with small portions
Reduce foods that are too acidic, spicy, coconut milk
Cut back on caffeine
Stay away from alcohol
Get plenty of rest, lie down on a comfortable base while elevating your feet
Get regular exercise
If with the steps above the complaint does not improve, you can see a doctor directly for proper treatment. Avoid taking drugs carelessly unless it is recommended directly by a doctor.
Hope this helps ..
