The Cause Of The Testicles Next Door?
I want to ask my 3-year-old child from the age of 2.5 years. The testicles are large on the right side, what is dangerous and what is the solution
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
In children, a large testicle next to one is not always dangerous. In most men, the size and height of the testicles are not always exactly the same between left and right. As long as this difference is not too obvious, and does not cause the child to experience pain, swelling or other complaints, this condition is often nothing to worry about. As his age increases, his testicular condition will gradually improve without the need for special treatment.
Even so, in some rare conditions, it can also be that the child's testicles appear to be large in one side due to an abnormality, such as undescended testicles, hydrocele (accumulation of fluid around the testes), scrotal hernias (part of the intestines sticking out to the testicular sacs) from a weakened abdominal wall), infection or inflammation of the skin around the testicles, varicoceles (swelling of the testicular veins), to benign or malignant tumors around the testicles. If you suspect your child has one of the conditions above, it would not hurt you to check him directly to the doctor or pediatrician. With a direct examination, the doctor can certainly be more objective in concluding what causes the complaint, and provide the best treatment. If necessary, your doctor may also refer your child to a pediatric surgery specialist for further treatment.
In the meantime, you should not panic or worry too much. Don't massage or pull your child's testicles. Do not also give babies pants that are too tight and made of heat. Focus to always maintain the cleanliness of your child's sex organs so as to avoid the risk of infection.
Hope this helps ...
