The Cause Of The Thigh Often Aches And Pains?
ok.rnMy name is Zakaria, 32 years old.rnI want to ask why my thighs are so sore” and sore” every day.rnWhat should I do.rnThank you, Please help.
Hi Zakaria, thanks for your question
Pain in the thigh is mostly related to muscle problems in that area. In medical parlance, this condition is called myalgia. Muscle pain can be accompanied by involvement of ligaments (tissue that connects bone to bone), tendons (connective tissue that connects muscle to bone), or fascia (connective tissue that connects muscle to muscle).
The common causes that may underlie myalgia in the thigh area:
perform physical activities that involve the muscles in the thigh area suddenly and excessively
sprained muscles after a trauma
In addition to the common causes above, muscle pain can also be related to certain medical conditions, such as fibromyalgia, lupus, dermatomyositis, bacterial or viral infections, rheumatoid arthritis, and so on. These medical conditions require special treatment by a doctor.
The first steps you can take to relieve thigh muscle pain while at home:
compress the thigh area
if caused by trauma / impact, compress with ice for 4 days
if it is not related to trauma or it has been more than 3 days, do a warm compress on the thigh area
Gentle massage on the sore thigh
take pain relievers, such as paracetamol according to the instructions for use listed on the package
for a while, avoid excessive activity in the sore thigh area
If the pain in the thigh does not resolve, it's a good idea to see a doctor for further examination and treatment.
Hope it's useful
