Then there is a small lump on my neck that hurts when I touch it.rnMy blood pressure is 140/90 and my head feels heavy.rnrnWhat’s wrong with me?
What you feel could be caused by:
Nerve disorders Malignancy Disorders of the tongue
In feeling a food taste, the tongue will continue the stimulation through the nerves to the brain. If there is a disturbance in the nerves that transmit these signals, there could be disturbances in your sense of taste. Malignancy can be the cause of lumps and disturbances in feeling what you are experiencing. Disorders of the tongue can also affect the taste disorders that you experience such as infections, side effects of drugs and others.
It's a good idea to check with your doctor. A more complete interview and in-person examination is needed to find out what you are experiencing. Elevated blood pressure also requires an evaluation of whether you suffer from hypertension or not. Later therapy will be adjusted to what you are experiencing.
I hope this helps.
