Sorry whether this is a bipolar disorder or what, please explain

1 Answer:

Good morning, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Bipolar disorder is a condition in which a person has two types of feelings, namely depressive feelings and mania / hypomania. More simply, someone on the one hand feels so sad that he loses interest, doesn't want to take care of his body and may have suicidal thoughts, but on the other hand there are also times when he feels so excited, always wants to talk, wants to do many things, doesn't even need to sleep for days.

In your condition, you actually need more in-depth examination by a psychiatrist to determine whether you meet the criteria to be considered to have a certain mental disorder, but in a very general sense, the attitude you display reflects a depressive state. Depression is characterized by feelings of sadness, feeling guilty, feeling hopeless and worthless, a bad mood, irritability or sensitivity, easy crying, no sexual desire, and many more.

Among the factors that increase a person's risk of depression are:

Persistent pressure from work, social environment, or family Have certain diseases that are very limiting or life-threatening Dependence on alcohol and drugs Side effects of drugs Have certain personalities Experiencing traumatic events Have a family history of mental disorders

So back to you, our advice is to consult your problem on a psychiatrist to really find out what really happened to you. Your psychiatrist will ask you more questions to explore when these feelings actually started, what you think about your life, and what triggers these feelings in you. If necessary, your psychiatrist will prescribe medication to make you feel more comfortable.

Meanwhile, while waiting, it is better if you try to take a break from your busy life and do relaxation with yoga, essential oils, sauna, or by listening to soft music. In addition, try to be honest and introspect yourself, about what moment and when was the last time you felt you could enjoy life. Information about this will be useful to your psychiatrist later. We wish you and your family good health.

That's all, hope it helps.
