The Causes Of Parental Blood Type Are Different From Those Of Children?
Good night … I have a 2-year-old daughter. I have blood type O while my husband’s blood type B. When I was born the first time my child was blood-checked and the results were my child’s blood type A. My question is how is the child’s blood type different / nothing is the same as one of my husband’s blood groups . Though I have never been in contact except with my husband. Thank you doctor …
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, parents who have blood types O and B will only have children with blood type O or B, it is not possible to have children with blood type A. If you have never had sex with another man, then chances are there is an error during the examination of the child's blood type, mistakes during the examination of the blood type of you or your husband, or another possibility is that your child is not your biological child.
We recommend that you do a repeat blood type examination first, if indeed the blood type is correct, then you should do a genetic examination to confirm.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
